Overview
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Dairy Processor and Food Safety Lead to join our team bottling rich and high-quality Jersey milk. This vital role combines two major responsibilities: 1: hands-on dairy processing expertise and 2: maintaining the highest standards of food safety and quality assurance. As a key leader in our manufacturing environment, you will oversee daily processing operations, ensure compliance with industry regulations, and lead quality management initiatives to deliver safe, high-quality dairy products.
Duties- Lead dairy processing activities, ensuring efficient production flow while adhering to safety protocols and quality standards
- Implement and monitor food safety programs in compliance with FDA regulations, including a full understanding of our SOPs, keeping adequate cleaning and sanitizing equipment and supplies on hand and understanding state and federal regulations for food processing in accordance with the Pasteurized Milk Ordinance (PMO).
- Perform thorough quality audits and analysis to identify areas for process improvement
- Proven experience in manufacturing or food processing environments with a focus on dairy products or related sectors
- Strong knowledge of food safety regulations including FDA standards, HACCP, and CGMP practices
- Patience, ability to work with a team that takes pride in their work, and friendly personality
- Ability to lift at least 50 pounds
Experience in dairy processing or food manufacturing a plus for this position! This is a full-time, 5 days a week position. The dairy processing plant runs an average of 4 days a week.
On bottling days, this position will start at 4:00 am and end at 12:00.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $48,823.87 - $59,390.04 per year
