Job Summary

IPG's CNC Operators work in our state-of-the-art Machine Shop that houses 50+ Mazak, Proto‑Trak, Haas, and Hurco machines. The CNC Operator will prepare, load, and unload materials into machines. This is a fantastic opportunity for a skilled and motivated CNC Machine Operator to join a talented team.

Job Functions
  • Prepare, load, and unload materials into machines.
  • Measure dimensions of finished pieces to ensure conformance to specifications, using measuring instruments, templates, and fixtures.
  • Use blueprints and design sketches to ensure the proper dimensions and tolerance levels of the finished product.
  • Perform general maintenance during CNC machine operation.
Requirements
  • 1–2 years CNC machining experience, knowledge of Mazak, Proto‑Trak, Haas, or Hurco machines a plus. Knowledge of Mazak Horizontal machines preferred.
  • Ability to understand and follow verbal and written instructions.
  • Familiar with a variety of the field's concepts, practices and procedures.
  • Relies on experience and judgment to accomplish goals.
