Job Summary
Assists the Program Manager in areas related to supervision and general operation of the residential program. Provides direct care supervision to individuals and ensures shifts run smoothly and efficiently.
Supervisory ResponsibilitiesNone.
Assist the Program Manager in performing the following duties- Coordinates and supervises daily programmatic functions including supervision/oversight of staff, upkeep of the residence and implementation of all aspects of individual treatment plans.
- Ensures that complete and appropriate individual records are maintained in accordance with funding source regulations and Community Strategies policies and procedures.
- Oversees the development and implementation of behavior plans, ISP objectives and all other aspects of residential programming.
- Participates in the training of all new employees.
- Manages program funds and supervises personal finances for all clients.
- Dispenses medications per MAP requirements as needed.
- Engages in the upkeep of the residence.
- Ensures adequate program coverage and supervision.
- Ensures that duties and responsibilities are carried out in a supportive and professional manner.
- Attends appropriate meetings as directed.
- Conducts physical restraints as needed.
- Extended standing, sitting and lifting as needed.
- Excellent problem‑solving and emergency response skills

- Strong interpersonal and negotiation skills
- Attentive listener
- Detail oriented
- Ability to multi‑task
Education and Experience
- High school diploma or equivalent.
Education and Experience
- Previous experience in a human service environment, a plus.
- Minimal travel.
