Communication Technology Services (CTS) is an industry leader in in-building and campus cellular managed services through our Forte Neutral Source™ signal source business unit. The Forte Neutral Source team provides turnkey, in-building cellular radios that provide AT&T, Verizon and T-Mobile cellular signal to DAS and small cell deployments in any sized building, anywhere in the US. The Forte Neutral Source team is seeking a Project Manager, DAS Signal Sources who brings broad experience managing cellular DAS system deployments using online project management tools. The Project Manager coordinates the activities of engineers, technicians, purchasing people, and finance specialists who perform the deployment activities. This role requires direct experience with managing cellular DAS system deployments likely gained from past work at a mobile network operator, DAS equipment manufacturer, or DAS systems integrator.

What you will do
  • Manage numerous DAS and signal source deployment projects simultaneously and ensure each project is properly and consistently managed through the defined process.
  • Review and verify each project’s scope, goals, task, constraints, risks, timelines and deliverables of each new project with stakeholders.
  • Complete all project status and closeout documentation to ensure successful execution and completion of all projects.
  • Maintain comprehensive project status documentation using cloud-based project management tools.
  • Identify and manage project dependencies and critical path activities.
  • Set and manage project expectations with internal project stakeholders through frequent interactions in meetings, calls, and emails.
  • Organize and conduct recurring project status meetings with stakeholders.
  • Work with the Finance and Purchasing departments for PO releases to vendors.
  • Work with the Forte project coordinator and regional warehouse personnel to ensure equipment receipt.
  • Proactively manage changes in project scope, schedule and job health while working to identify potential issues and devise corrective action.
  • Coordinate engineering activities, such as system commissioning, integration, optimization, data collection, inspections, acceptance testing and creation of closeout packages.
  • Maintain the status of all project activities in online systems and provide coworkers and management periodic reports on project status.
What you’ll bring Required
  • Five or more years of project management experience, ideally in managing cellular DAS equipment deployments.
  • Three or more years working within the cellular industry, ideally having involvement in the deployment of cellular DAS systems.
  • Project management experience in developing work breakdowns, Gantt charts, task lists, and resource balancing.
  • Proven competency on one or more project management software tools such as Microsoft Project, Zoho, or Smartsheet and proficiency with Microsoft Office suite (Excel, Word, Power Point).
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Ability to coordinate remote teams and work effectively in a virtual office.
  • Ability to “think outside the box” to meet customer deadlines.
  • Ability to prioritize activities competing for the same resources and organizing group activities for maximum productivity.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proven ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt quickly to change.
Preferred
  • Project management certification of PMP preferred, CAPM considered.
  • Experience managing projects using Site Tracker ®
Salary: commensurate with experience in 90-115k range
