Accounting Manager​/Supervisor

We are looking for an experienced Accounting Manager/Supervisor to join our team in Upton, Massachusetts. Responsibilities:

- Oversee monthly, quarterly, and annual financial close processes, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies.

- Manage project accounting activities, including revenue recognition, job costing, work-in-progress analysis, and billing.

- Analyze and prepare financial statements and management reports to support business decision-making.

- Supervise daily accounting operations, such as accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, and bank reconciliations.

- Lead financial analysis and reporting initiatives to enhance operational efficiency and support strategic goals.

- Review and prepare journal entries, account reconciliations, and related documentation.

- Establish and maintain effective internal controls and accounting procedures.

- Provide leadership and mentorship to a small team, fostering detail-oriented development and growth.

- Coordinate audit preparations and liaise with external auditors when required.

- Handle diverse financial and administrative tasks as part of a hands-on leadership role.

Requirements

+ Degree in Accounting/Finance/Related Field OR relevant experience

+ 5-20+ years' experience

+

Experience with Quick Books

+ Background in the specialty contracting or construction industry

+ Good tenure with limited movement
