Our client, a leading provider of facility management services supporting pharmaceutical manufacturing and other critical operations, is seeking a Door Systems Technician to join their team. As a Door Systems Technician, you will be part of the Facility Management team supporting a large campus with diverse infrastructure. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong mechanical troubleshooting skills, programming knowledge, and a proactive attitude, which will align successfully in the organization.

Door Systems Technician/Access Control Specialist

Pay Range

$38-41/hr

What's the Job?
  • Operate, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair a variety of door systems including dock levelers, exterior sliding gates, motor-operated roll-up doors, and fire doors.
  • Install, configure, and maintain electronic access control components such as proximity sensors, mag locks, and key access systems.
  • Perform mechanical inspections and checks to ensure proper functioning of doors and access hardware.
  • Support preventative maintenance schedules and testing services for all door types and related equipment.
  • Assist with general maintenance tasks such as patching, painting, minor plumbing, and furniture repairs to support facility operations.
What's Needed?
  • High School diploma or GED equivalent.
  • Strong electrical troubleshooting, programming, and mechanical skills.
  • Knowledge of door brands such as Stanley, Dormakaba, Tormax, Chase, ASI, Schlage, or similar.
  • Ability to analyze and resolve issues with various door and gate systems.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work on your feet for extended periods.
