Whatthis job involves
Plans maintenance activities for multiple trades by identifying resources and material requirements to schedule and coordinate repair work. Candidate must be skilled in estimating complex repair requests, have strong computer skills and be competent at planning in a complex GXP environment. Detailed documentation, and follow-up of all tasks required for a building-based maintenance team. Have necessary skills to effectively communicate with all involved departments representatives, and all internal and external customers.
Support Pharmaceutical/Biotech and FM supplier goals and department business initiatives.
- Work with Maintenance Supervisors to plan and schedule work for multiple trades including but not limited to:
Electrical, Plumbing, General Maintenance, Mechanical, Architectural. - Coordinate with Trades supervisors, tradesmen, stock support, EHS, Quality, sub-contractors, customers, and predictive maintenance.
- Maintain intermediate to high computer skills necessary to access CMMS work order systems (Maximo/Crowd Comfort), update equipment history, and access parts/material inventory management system.
- Develop and document detailed job packets for corrective maintenance that can be utilized to build a library.
- Coordinate and lead weekly meeting Schedule/Planning meeting.
- Must be able to proficiently complete in field walk downs of work requests.
- Provide input to department metric reporting.
- Read, understand and abide by equipment SOP's, and both GxP and non GxP files.
- Coordinate proper safety permitting and provides control of shutdowns, startups, and building services in support of building projects.
- Obtain vendor bids and coordinate vendor services to supplement on site resources.
- Communicate clearly, understand and acknowledge verbal instructions, and be able to read and interpret work from drawings, written work orders, sketches, blueprints, and technical manuals.
- Estimate work-order completion times and compare to actual.
- Continuously improve PM effectiveness through optimizing work, detail, and parts required.
- Add new assets, parts, job plans, or other maintenance items to the CMMS (Maximo) system.
- Perform other job-related duties and special projects as assigned.
- Dayshift - Monday through Friday with on-call availability as needed.
- Associate Degree or Technical School equivalent
- +5 years CMMS (Maximo) experience
- Prior maintenance planning and coordination experience.
- Pharmaceutical/biotech maintenance, manufacturing, or research facilities experience
- Experience tracking and reporting Service Level Agreement (SLA) performance indicators
- Experience with safety permitting and building services control systems
- Familiarity with GxP environments and compliance requirements
- 5+ years' experience working in a multi-trade environment
- Work with Maintenance Supervisors to plan and schedule work for multiple trades.
- Ensure vendors are properly trained on safety protocols, provide leadership and instruction throughout projects, and verify work orders are completed properly when jobs are finished.
- Proficiency in various computer programs including MS Word, Excel, Outlook, and Project
- Excellent organizational, verbal and written communication skills
- Detailed understanding of effective scheduling, estimating, and workflow processes in a maintenance environment
- Ability to track, verify, and maintain high team performance levels based on established metrics
- Strong analytical thinking skills
- Team player committed to working in a quality environment with ability to work independently
- Ability to maintain professional and customer-oriented relationships
- Understanding of customer requirements and coordination with other support teams
- Must be able to read and interpret work from drawings, written work orders, sketches, blueprints, and other instructional or technical manuals.
- Valid Driver's License

Estimated compensation for this position75,000. USD per year
This range is an estimate and actual compensation may differ. Final compensation packages are determined by various considerations including but not limited to candidate qualifications, location, market conditions, and internal considerations.
