• In this role you will be directly involved with the overall daily operations and general maintenance of equipment at a 0.45 MGD membrane bioreactor (M ) wastewater treatment facility.
• Daily rounds
• Laboratory analysis
• Process control
• Sludge thickening
• Maintenance projects and general facility and grounds maintenance.

• Minimum Massachusetts Grade III license
• Minimum of two years of experience in a wastewater treatment facility, operation, and maintenance; or any equivalent combination of education.
• High School or trade school diploma is required
• Applicant must possess a valid Massachusetts Driver’s License.
• Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with superiors, other personnel, and the general public.
• Ability to communicate effectively, orally and in writing.
• Familiarity with biological/chemical treatment processes with particular aptitude for laboratory analysis, record keeping, and facility maintenance.
• Must be able to lift or move up to 40 lbs. on a regular basis.
• Successful candidates will be required to complete a background check, pre-placement physical and drug screen before employment.

• Meets the health and physical condition standards deemed necessary and proper for performance of these duties.
• Is able to be exposed to hazardous conditions.
• Is able to work shift, weekend and holiday schedules.
• Has ability to perform heavy lifting up to 50 lbs and other manual work under adverse conditions.
