Field Engineer

US Citizenship Required. A+ certification is required by the client. Candidates who do not have A+ certification will have 90 days after their start date to become certified, or be subject to termination. Dell certifications are required prior to work and will cost the candidate nothing.

The candidate will take PC hardware break‑fix calls at various locations.

• Support Dell Client Transformation Services calls, installing and servicing PCs, and PC peripherals and/or electronic equipment.
• Perform incident‑specific activities as directed by Help Desk, Service Desk, or script.
• Perform routine installations, moves, adds, and changes as part of a directed team.
• Perform complex desktop and laptop break‑fix work, whole unit replacement, and simple desktop printer fixes.
• Load software with a script.

• Must have reliable transportation.
• Must be able to pass drug and background screening.
• Must be able to complete required product training.
• Must be able to pass a high‑speed internet connection at home for remote reporting.

• DELL Desktop PC, Install/Support, Expert.
• A+ Certification.

• Extensive driving is a requirement. The candidate must be willing and able to drive 2 to 3 hours to deliver services to a customer.
• Occasionally you may be required to work beyond the end of your planned shift (for example, to work past 5:30 pm). You are willing to work late on short notice.
• Real‑time reporting of your time, location, and activities in the ticketing system for each service call is required.

All mileage during the day to work locations is reimbursed per the standard mileage.
