Job SummaryWe are seeking enthusiastic and dedicated Banquet Servers to join our team. As a Banquet Server at Harrington Farm, you will play a crucial role in ensuring our guests have a seamless and enjoyable experience. You will be responsible for providing top-notch service during weddings and events, working closely with our event management team to deliver exceptional hospitality.
Responsibilities- Set up banquet rooms according to event specifications, including arranging tables, chairs, linens, and table settings.
- Greet guests with a warm and friendly demeanor.
- Serve food and beverages promptly and efficiently, ensuring a high standard of service.
- Assist with the execution of the event timeline, coordinating with kitchen staff and other team members.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of banquet areas before, during, and after events.
- Respond to guest requests and inquiries with a positive attitude.
- Follow all health and safety guidelines to ensure a safe environment for guests and staff.
- Assist with the breakdown and cleanup of events, including packing up equipment and resetting rooms for the next event.
- Previous experience in banquet serving or a similar hospitality role is preferred but not required.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Attention to detail and a commitment to providing excellent customer service.
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods, and lift up to 25 pounds.
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
- A team player with a positive attitude and a willingness to learn.
