Location: South Weymouth

An opportunity is available for a skilled echocardiography technologist to provide advanced cardiac ultrasound imaging services in a dynamic healthcare setting. This contract position offers the chance to apply technical expertise and clinical training to assist in the diagnosis and treatment of patients with cardiac conditions using echocardiography technology.

Responsibilities:
  • Perform diagnostic echo cardiographic procedures with technical precision.
  • Recognize abnormal cardiac structures and integrate findings to produce comprehensive studies.
  • Adapt standard imaging techniques as needed to capture quality diagnostic information.
  • Utilize ancillary devices and selected transducers effectively.
  • Maintain compliance with all safety and procedural standards for patient care.
Qualifications:
  • Completion of a two-year accredited echocardiography program including technical and clinical training, resulting in an associate degree or higher.
  • One to two years of professional experience preferred.
  • Current Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer (RDCS) credential through ARDMS or Registered Cardiac Sonographer (RCS) credential via Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI).
  • Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS).
  • Demonstrated competency in echocardiography, with the ability to innovate imaging techniques and use various transducers.
Schedule:
  • Shift information to be confirmed within 24 hours of application.
