Entry-Level Senior Support Aide – Training & Certification

GUARDIAN ANGEL SENIOR SERVICES is looking to add Caregivers/Home Health Aide to join our team who are compassionate and support elderly residents in their homes with daily activities and ensure residents' safety and well-being by facilitating social interactions, therapeutic conversations, and secure environments. The Home Health Aide should maintain a safe and secure environment by following all standards and procedures and taking care of safety precautions.

• Housekeeping such as vacuuming, emptying trash, changing bed linens, and maintaining a clean bathroom and kitchen
• Laundry services
• Reminding about medications and helping with pre-dosed ones
• Supervision and assistance in bathing and dressing/undressing and other hygiene-related responsibilities
• Meal preparation and serving to clients, following all dietary requirements
• Shopping for groceries and other household requirements
• Continence care
• Assistance in mobility and encouraging clients to follow prescribed exercise programs, which may include ROM exercises and walking
• Assistance in transferring client from bed to chair or other equipment
• Assistance in turning and repositioning the client and providing care to pressure point areas

• High school diploma or GED required
