You will lead a team responsible for designing, developing, and governing models that support forecasting, capital planning, asset-liability management (ALM), and stress testing.
Your leadership will ensure models are accurate, efficient, scalable and compliant with regulatory standards, while collaborating with Finance, Valuation, ALM, ERM, Investment Management and Technology. This role reports to the Head of Modeling Center of Excellence.
The Team

Its mission is to elevate modeling capabilities and enhance the speed, quality, and fidelity of integrated financial projection models that support FP&A, ALM, capital planning, and other downstream processes.

- Model Development & Governance: Oversee design, development, and maintenance of life and health actuarial projection models used for FP&A, ALM and capital planning. Ensure models comply with regulatory requirements (e.g., US Statutory, LDTI GAAP and economic bases) and internal controls. Lead model governance, including signoffs with ERM and audit, with robust documentation and validation frameworks.
- Model implementation and execution: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support assumption update processes. Execute, validate and refine projection model outputs while monitoring model infrastructure and performance.
- Talent Development: Manage team performance, provide coaching and mentorship, and create opportunities for professional growth. Manage resources and prioritize projects to meet deadlines and strategic goals.
- Innovation & Continuous Improvement: Champion new ideas, tools, and methodologies to enhance modeling capabilities. Explore emerging technologies (e.g., machine learning, predictive analytics) to improve modeling capabilities.
