Teacher of Science Golden

Hurstmere School is seeking to appoint a highly effective Teacher of Science to join the Science Department, to start from 27th August 2026.

We are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic and dedicated Science Teacher to join our successful and supportive Science department. The successful candidate will be passionate about inspiring students and delivering engaging lessons across the Science curriculum at Key Stage 3 and Key Stage
4. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated teacher who is committed to high standards of teaching, learning, and student achievement within a dynamic secondary school environment.

This is a full time, permanent role, paid on the STPC Main Teachers pay scale, dependant on experience.

The school is offering a recruitment incentive of £5,000 which is split into the following payments - £2,500 subject to the successful completion of a 6-month probationary period, and a further £2,500 to be paid upon one year service.

This post would suit an experienced or Early Career Teacher with good prospects for career development.
