The Town of Yarmouth, MA is seeking a year‑round full‑time Senior Library Technician for South Yarmouth & West Yarmouth Libraries. The candidate must be reliable, flexible, have computer knowledge & excellent customer service skills.

• Assist at the front desk, including checking materials in & out.
• Answer phones; assist with requesting materials for library users.
• Maintain positive communication with the public and other library tasks.
• Provide ready reference & readers' advisory.
• Ability to lift up to 20 lbs., stand for lengthy periods of time.

• Bachelor's degree preferred & one or more years of relevant experience within a public library system, or any equivalent combination of education & experience.
• High comfort level with computers & a variety of reference resources.
• Reputation for superior customer service.
• Ability to communicate effectively & work cooperatively with people of all ages, including volunteers, community partners, colleagues & supervisors.
• Accuracy; attention to detail.
• Must enjoy learning & have a helpful, friendly disposition.
