• Plan engaging lessons utilizing the math curriculum.
• Utilize instructional methods and material aligned with curriculum goals.
• Evaluate and assess students using a variety of methods.
• Create a positive, inviting and safe learning environment.
• Develop, model and practice classroom procedures.
• Work collaboratively with the math department chair and school administration to proactively implement district/school policies and rules governing student life, conduct, behavior, and procedures.
• Communicate high expectations to all learners.
• Work actively to establish and maintain communication with parents/guardians concerning both academic and behavior progress.
• Differentiate instruction to meet the needs of all earners.
• Strive to maintain and improve professional competence.
• Actively participate in department/staff meetings and school functions.
• Ability to apply concepts of algebra and geometry.

• Ability to run Window 98 Programs.
• Proficient in File management, word processing, spreadsheets, and database applications.

• Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
• Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables.

• Bachelor's degree in math or related field
• Valid Massachusetts Teaching License
• Massachusetts Certification 8-12 or 9-12
• Citizenship, residency or work visa required
