• Teach several French courses for students in grades 9-12 across various proficiency levels.
• Developing lesson plans and curricula based on the needs of individual students.
• Providing conversational classes where pronunciation and important words and phrases are taught.
• Teaching French writing and composition courses.
• Design a student-centered classroom that promotes collaboration and active engagement.
• Conducting research on teaching methods, materials, and language games that can be used in class.
• Scheduling and preparing students for oral and written examinations.
• Assisting in residential life duties including community-building events, enforcing housing policies, addressing student concerns, and fostering a safe and inclusive living environment.

• Bachelor’s degree in French, Education, or related required. Master's degree preferred.
• Fluency in French required.
• 2-3 years of previous teaching experience strongly preferred.
• No teaching license or credential is required.
• Strong English written, and verbal communication skills.
• Well-organized and able to handle multiple responsibilities.
• Involvement outside of the classroom by helping with coaching, leading extra-curricular activities, or community service activities.

• Ability to teach both French and Spanish.
