• Massachusetts teacher certification in elementary education, grades K – 5 preferred
• Knowledge of MA curriculum frameworks, curriculum, instruction, and assessment
• Ability to work with a diverse population

• Responsible for effective planning and assessment of curriculum and instruction
• Establishes and (as necessary) adjusts instructional goals and objectives, to reflect district/school goals, curriculum programming, and the knowledge, skills, progress, and needs of all students.
• Designs lessons that reflect an inclusive classroom setting.
• Establishes and maintains standards for social and emotional learning consistent with CASEL standards.
• Commits to ongoing professional development in content area and pedagogy.
• Plans learning activities to address individual differences consistent with Universal Design for Learning (UDL).
• Develops, administers, and evaluates quality formative and summative assessments that reflect a balance of content knowledge and problem‑solving skills.
• Monitors and evaluates students’ progress in relation to district/school curriculum programming.
• Encourages, secures and maintains the involvement of families and other community members in support of instruction.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
• Effectively collaborates with school personnel.
• Knowledge of equitable teaching and learning resources and practices.

• Abide by state statutes, school board policies and regulations.
• Attend meetings and performs duties as assigned by administrators or supervisors.
• Take all necessary and reasonable precautions to protect students, equipment, materials, and facilities.
• Maintain accurate, complete, and correct records as required by law, district policy and administrative regulation.
• Serve on committees as assigned.
• Remain current on instructional practices in education.

Reports to: Principal

Start Date: January 26, 2026 - April 30, 2026

Salary: Per Teacher's contract, $49,955 per year
