Nipmuc Regional High School is seeking a Special Educator (moderate disabilities). The Special Educator will provide instruction guided by the principles of Applied Behavior Analysis, allowing staff to assess, teach, and evaluate progress using evidence‑based procedures. Lesson plans will be customized to address communication, social skills, academics, self‑help, health and safety, recreation and physical education, community skills, vocational skills, and transition skills.
A specialized academic curriculum is also used as necessary.
Requirements include:
- Understanding of the special education process and procedure, including but not limited to IEP development, progress monitoring, data collection, and the facilitation of the IEP with families.
- MA DESE Licensure required.
