Event Specialist

Role Overview

Do you enjoy the process of planning and carrying out successful events? Are you passionate about creating fun and organized experiences? If so, we want to meet you! We are looking for an Event Specialists to produce events for River Stone Manor. As the Event Specialist, you will serve as the planner and host for your clients' events.

• Collaborate with the General Manager, Sales and Events Specialist and the Banquet Manager to create and manage a successful event.
• Plan the menu working with the Executive Chef and Sous Chef to offer a gourmet experience for the event
• Organize the logistics for the day of the event, including managing decor, vendors, and timelines.
• Assist in the set up and tear down the day of the event
• Report to management to recap the events at the end of the evening with the Banquet Manager and participate in Sales Meetings noting trends, best practices and areas of improvement.

• Outgoing, energetic personality, with a natural ability to smile and stay in control
• 1 - 3 years of event planning experience
• Ability to take the initiative on projects
• Good organization skills and an eye for detail
• Reliable with excellent time management
