Behavior Technician – LEARN Behavioral
LEARN Behavioral (BCI) is looking for a Behavior Technician to help children with autism learn, grow, and build communication, socialization, and self‑help skills through play‑based therapy known as applied behavior analysis (ABA).
Responsibilities- Support children with autism in learning and building new skills via ABA.
- Participate in play‑based therapy sessions with children aged 1.5 to 18+.
- Help families reach their goals and maintain communication.
- Assist with physical tasks such as pushing, pulling, and lifting up to 35 pounds, as well as bending, standing, walking, and running.
- High school diploma or GED.
- Reliable transportation; valid driver’s license preferred.
- Commitment to working a consistent weekly schedule (mornings, afternoons, evenings).
- Ability to pass a background check.
- Minimum age 18.
- Eligibility to work in the United States.
- Genuine desire to help children with autism and their families.
- Compassion, empathy, enthusiasm, kindness, goodwill, and reliability.
- Willingness to learn about autism, learning differences, and ABA.
- Basic background in psychology, education, special education, childcare, behavioral health, health science, or related field a plus.
- Experience working with children (babysitter, nanny, tutor, teacher, coach, camp counselor, or similar).
- Bi‑lingual in English/Spanish a plus.
- Passion for creating lasting, positive change for children and families.
- Full‑time: up to 15 days paid time off after 90 days.
- Part‑time: eligible for sick leave.
- Opportunity to earn RBT certification.
