Job SummaryProvide basic office and clerical support to a department or function. Duties will include basic computer data entry, word processing, filing, responding to incoming telephone or in-person inquiries. Provide assistance as requested requiring excellent customer service and communications skills. Work with close supervisions and follow pre-determined instructions.
- Reports are generated timely and accurately
- Information is input into computer system accurately
- Office supplies are ordered and inventory maintained as needed
- Appointments are scheduled and calendars maintained with sensitivity to scheduling conflicts
- Meetings or events are scheduled and coordinated; equipment and materials are available as needed
- Travel arrangements are made appropriately to time and scheduling needs of participants
- Meetings are attended and meeting notes are prepared and distributed to attendees
- Presentation materials are prepared accurately and timely
- Correspondence and other written communications are drafted for final approval
- Additional department, organization, or network activities are completed per established objectives

Education/Degree - High School diploma or G.E.D. equivalent - required
Experience Required - Prior office experience preferred
Skills- Basic computer and data entry skills required, with ability to learn new programs
- Ability to use basic office equipment (e.g. phones, fax, copiers, scanners, etc.)
- Excellent customer service skills and ability to interact with a diverse population
- Excellent written, verbal and electronic communications
- Preferred - Attention to detail
