Accounts Receivable Specialist

Description

Accounts Receivable Specialist opportunity in Hampshire county with a growing company that serves the aerospace and manufacturing industries globally! They are growing significantly, and have a local footprint with a wonderful culture and a lot of tenure! This is a great opportunity for someone that wants to handle all facets of the accounts receivable process and be cross functional in the day to day accounting operations.

Responsibilities include:

+ Record sales orders

+ Maintain accounts for all incoming payments

+ Prepare a comprehensive weekly report on aged analysis

+ Send invoices to customers

+ Follow up with customers on outstanding invoices as needed

+ Reconcile accounts receivable

+ Partner with Accounts Payable and assist with processing

+ Reporting for the accounting department

+ Assist with audits and partner with Controller on accounting projects

To be considered you will need 2+ years in an accounts receivable capacity, or someone with their accounting degree and strong fundamentals to learn and grow in the position. Manufacturing industry preferred.

Well versed in MS Excel and MS Office, good communication skills, and experience working in an ERP software a plus. Looking for a team player, someone curious to take on more responsibility. Requirements

- Minimum of 2 years of experience in accounts receivable or a relevant accounting role.

- Proficiency in Excel and other Office applications.

- Strong analytical skills with the ability to reconcile complex accounts.

- Excellent communication abilities for interacting with customers and internal teams.

- Team-oriented mindset and a willingness to take on additional responsibilities.
