Facilities Infrastructure Maintenance and Construction

Natorp Nursery is seeking a project-oriented team member for our nursery and greenhouse facility. Reporting to our Facilities coach, the Facilities Maintenance Team Member will have an aptitude to perform general maintenance, perform light construction duties, and work with irrigation systems, pump maintenance, and mechanical greenhouse control systems. A successful candidate will be motivated to carry out projects and must have experience, or the willingness to be instructed in the areas of power tool usage and be physically able to lift up to 100 lbs.

The Facilities Maintenance Team Member will be expected to follow safe work practices at all times. We offer competitive wages and are seeking career-oriented individuals. Nursery employees must be at least 18 years old.

• Light construction duties
• Maintain and install irrigation systems
• Perform pump maintenance
• Maintain greenhouse control systems

• Mechanical aptitude
• General knowledge and skills for irrigation repair, light construction, use of power tools, environmental control systems and pump maintenance.
• Physically able to lift 100 lbs.
• Ability to be trained to operate a Bobcat, excavator, and forklift
• Ability to operate a scissor lift
• Perform repairs on existing structures and/or new builds
• Perform concrete work
• Repair irrigation breaks or leaks
• Ability to work indoors and outdoors
• Ability to stand on feet all day
• Ability to work overtime when necessary
• Applicant must maintain and have a valid driver's license as well as an excellent driving record to qualify for this position.

This is a full-time job. The schedule is 40 hours a week.

The ability to work flexed hours on occasion is required.

Please note that evening and weekend part-time work and after school work is not available for this position.

Nursery employees must be at least 18 years old.
