Job DescriptionWe are seeking an experienced Maintenance Technician to join our facility operations team. This role supports daily building maintenance needs and provides assistance during ongoing renovation projects. The ideal candidate has 5–10 years of hands‑on experience in general maintenance and facilities support.
Key Responsibilities- Perform routine maintenance tasks, including light plumbing, electrical, landscaping, and furniture moves.
- Support company events with set‑up and teardown assistance.
- Conduct daily building inspections and coordinate corrective actions.
- Assist with remodeling projects and space set‑ups.
- Monitor and manage loading dock activities and package handling.
- Travel weekly to nearby facilities as needed.
- Operate and maintain mechanical systems (HVAC, boilers, electrical switch gear, generators, etc.).
- Conduct minor repairs: painting, drywall, flooring, ceiling tiles, lighting, carpet tiles.
- Assist with janitorial coverage if required.
- Perform snow removal during winter months.
- Maintain clean and safe working environments, both indoors and outdoors.
- 5–10 years of experience in general maintenance or facilities support.
- High school diploma or GED (technical or trade school a plus).
- Strong mechanical and problem‑solving skills.
- Working knowledge of plumbing, electrical, carpentry, HVAC, and landscaping.
- Ability to lift heavy items and perform physically demanding tasks.
- Basic computer and email communication skills.
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
- Excellent customer service orientation and attention to detail.
- Experience in facilities/property management, commercial real estate, or similar industries.
- Ability to work independently and make sound decisions.
- Reliable, cooperative, and detail‑oriented.
