Account Advisor
Location:
Ohio. This role requires associates to be in-office 1 - 2 days per week, fostering collaboration and connectivity, while providing flexibility to support productivity and work‑life balance. This approach combines structured office engagement with the autonomy of virtual work, promoting a dynamic and adaptable workplace. Alternate locations may be considered if candidates reside within a commuting distance from an office.

The Account Advisor will be responsible for partnering with sales and account associates in the growth and retention of existing accounts. This role is exclusive to our Labor & Trust team.
How You Will Make An Impact- Build relationships internally and externally to meet client needs and understand priorities.
- Manage high profile sales, claims, and benefit issues by researching, resolving and responding to accounts, members, and brokers.
- Conduct and facilitate meetings with clients to educate, promote, persuade, and drive opportunities for additional growth and product sales; communicate with internal partners to assist with upselling.
- Respond to request for proposal (“RFP”) in coordination with sales support.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to meet and exceed client expectations.
- Utilize internal and external client reporting.
- Respond directly to client on the behalf of strategic account associates as needed.
- Mentor and coach team members while acting as subject matter experts on processes.
- Complete projects outside the department on matters of significance with the authority to represent the department.
- Assist with competitive situations within assigned accounts or group market, analyze information, and develop proposals and execution plans to management.
- Requires a BA/BS and a minimum of 4 years of related experience; or any combination of education and experience which would provide an equivalent background.
- Sales license required or the ability to obtain within 60 days of hire.
- Knowledge and experience in working with insurance products and services, as well as experience in the labor and trust markets preferred.
- Strong organizational skills to manage time efficiently, handle multiple responsibilities, and meet deadlines effectively, preferred.
- Strong analytical and decision‑making abilities to research and resolve high‑profile sales and claims issues, preferred.
