Oncology RN in Mason, OH

This contract opportunity is ideal for a registered nurse with a specialization in oncology and bone marrow transplant (BMT) experience, based in Mason, OH. The role involves providing exceptional care to patients undergoing stem cell therapies and participating in clinical trials within a 16‑bed BMT unit.

• Deliver comprehensive nursing care to patients actively receiving stem cell transplants and chemotherapy treatments
• Administer chemotherapy safely and effectively, adhering to established protocols
• Monitor patient responses and manage side effects related to chemotherapy and stem cell transplants
• Collaborate closely with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized patient care plans
• Educate patients and families about treatment plans, expected outcomes, and side effect management

• Active RN license
• Minimum of 2 years experience in Bone Marrow Transplant nursing
• Certification in chemotherapy administration, such as ONS Chemo or ONCC Chemo‑Bio
• Proven experience administering chemotherapy with a thorough understanding of related safety protocols
• Strong critical thinking and communication skills to provide high-quality patient care in a specialized oncology setting
