Overview

Skilled Machine Operator - Rectangle Cup at Kraft Heinz Company, Mason, OH. The position involves working in the rectangle cup production area. Candidates should be safety- and quality-oriented, adaptable, and able to work in a team, fast-paced environment. Responsibilities include performing general production duties in a food manufacturing setting following strict quality and safety standards. Currently hiring for 2nd shift (2:30pm–10:30pm).

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Candidates must be available to work all shifts including second, third, weekends, and holidays.
• Ability to lift and carry 25–50 lbs. on a regular basis.
• Outstanding attendance record.
• Strong attention to detail with the ability to identify defects and adhere to quality standards.
• Award of a qualified score on a job skills assessment, to be administered after a passing interview score.

• Operate filling equipment and make minor machine adjustments.
• Package finished products and prepare packaging materials.
• Assemble corrugated boxes and partitions; pack finished merchandise in boxes.
• Seal cases with tape and label finished boxes with proper identification.
• Place finished cases on pallets according to predefined case placements.
• Monitor weight and packaging components; ensure accuracy.
• Monitor machine scrap and follow scrap procedures; maintain hourly machine counts and respond to visual board information.
• Clean and rinse equipment during changeovers; keep work area clean at all times.
• Label sides/ends of boxes and apply requested identifiers for customers.
• Operate packaging machines per procedures; complete setup, product hook-ups, changeovers, washouts, and roll changes.
• Make necessary machine adjustments as outlined in operation guides for each packaging machine.
• Complete all paperwork (production work orders, downtime sheets, weight checks, etc.).
• Other duties as assigned.

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Prior manufacturing experience is preferred; GMP/regulated industry experience is a plus.
• Ability to lift and carry 25–50 lbs regularly.
• Ability to stay calm under pressure and balance changing priorities.
• Outstanding attendance and a focus on safety with safe work habits.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to call out defects and adhere to quality standards.
• Positive, team-focused attitude.
