Production Trainer Team Member. JBS is seeking an hourly Production Trainer Team Member! Position starts at $24 per hour. Must be able to be flexible on schedule.

The Production Trainer coaches/trains new hourly Team Members to meet goals related to workplace safety, food safety/quality, and production requirements. The Production Trainer will be required to achieve department and facility objectives; and must be able to direct, train, coach, and counsel other hourly Team Members in accordance with company policy and procedure. The Production Trainer will implement all training and retention programs at the plant level and is reporting to the Training Supervisor.

Responsible for informing and driving company work rules, GMP’s, and policies including the effective recommendation of the correction for employees under their direction.

1. Conducts training courses and On-the-Job Training for new hire employees.

2. Provides high-quality advice and service to management on daily employee relations and performance management issues.

3. Offers proactive retention support.

4. Responsible for documentation and administering of operational training programs.

5. May assume other duties as assigned.

ACTIVITIES: May require working on feet for long hours, bending, and stooping.

HEARING: Must be able to hear average or normal conversations and receive ordinary information.

REPETITIVE MOTION: Must be able to frequently and regularly use wrists, hands, and/or fingers.

VISUAL ABILITIES: Average, ordinary visual acuity necessary to prepare or inspect documents, products, or operate machinery.

PHYSICAL STRENGTH: Regularly lift and/or move up to 10 pounds, frequently lift and/or move up to 25 pounds, and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds throughout the day.

WORKING CONDITIONS: Must be able to work for long hours in a food processing environment, where it is wet, damp, and cold. Temperatures are frequently around 34 degrees, and employees are expected to remain in these conditions for the majority of their workdays.
