Increase Skilled Machine Operator​/Processor, 3rd shift

Our team is currently seeking a Batch Operators/Processors to work in our Jelly Processing Department. We focus on safety and quality oriented people who can demonstrate adaptability and willingness in a team oriented-fast paced work environment.

10:30pm‑6:30am (3rd shift variable based on assigned work). Overtime is possible, 4 hours before or after the regular shift.

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• History of safe work practices.
• Prior experience in a warehouse—shipping/receiving—logistics environment is required.
• Ability to safely lift and carry 50 lbs on a regular basis.
• Strong attention to detail with the ability to call out defects and implement to Quality standards.
• Achieve qualified score on job skills assessment—coordinated after receiving a passing interview score.

• Starting Pay $24.61/hour
• 10 Company Paid Holidays/year

As part of our Production team, you will be delivering supplies to machines and processing kettles that make anything from ranch to syrup.

• Ability to follow complete production schedules with minimal scrap/spoilage.
• Visually inspect equipment at station for cleanliness or obvious maintenance problems and clean machine components as needed.
• Monitor equipment controls—temperature meters, valves and adjust as needed.
• Operate forklift/pallet jack to acquire ingredients or move pallets/totes in and around processing area.
• Use can openers, knives, band cutters, snips, pliers and other small items to open ingredient cases/packages.
• Record data pertaining to work completed—ingredients used, lot codes and other processing information.
• Assist in cleaning equipment and lines between recipes.
• Acquire ingredients/supplies from warehouse and samples of batches.
• Transfer finished products to drum, tote, or tank by pumping through piping system.
• Determine appropriate size of batch needed to accommodate orders and line.
• Operate equipment in a safe manner following GMP guidelines and keep work area clean.
• Other duties as assigned.
