Job Description

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and minimum 1+ years Special Education Teacher experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Providing specialized instruction and support to students with diverse learning needs, this School Based Special Education Teacher position offers an excellent opportunity to make a meaningful impact in a K-12 educational setting near Hamilton, Ohio.

Qualifications and Experience
  • Valid Ohio Special Education Teaching Certification required
  • Experience working with K-12 students in special education settings preferred
  • Strong knowledge of individualized education program (IEP) development and implementation
  • Ability to differentiate instruction and collaborate with general education teachers and support staff
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills
Location
  • School-based role located near Hamilton, Ohio
Position Details
  • Contract position with 37.5 hours per week
  • Five-day workweek, Monday through Friday
  • Age group served:
    Kindergarten through 12th grade
Responsibilities
  • Deliver tailored instruction to students with disabilities to support academic growth and social development
  • Develop, monitor, and revise Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) in compliance with state guidelines
  • Collaborate effectively with parents, educators, and support personnel to create inclusive learning environments
  • Maintain accurate records and participate in team meetings to assess student progress
  • Utilize appropriate teaching methods and assistive technology to meet students unique needs
