• Position: Neuro Operating Room Registered Nurse (RN) / Perioperative Nurse
• Location: Mason City, IA 50401 (Mason City healthcare opportunity)
• Contract Type: Travel Nurse (13 weeks)
• Start Date: March 9, 2026
• End Date: June 7, 2026
• Estimated Weekly Pay: $2,300 – $2,420
• Local Hourly Pay Rate: $80.00/hr
• Hours / Shift: 40 hrs/wk — Days, Mon–Fri, 6:30 AM – 3:00 PM (8-hour days)
• Call: 10–12 call days per month; every 3rd weekend on call
• Openings: 1

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license, eligible to practice in Iowa (Iowa nursing jobs, travel nurse eligibility)
• Minimum 1 year of recent Operating Room RN experience;
  Neuro OR experience preferred
• Current BLS certification (additional facility-specific certifications may be required)
• Ability to participate in required call rotation, including weekends
• Completion of onboarding health and competency requirements prior to start (drug screen, immunizations, background check)
• Strong communication, teamwork, and perioperative clinical skills

• Provide safe, high-quality perioperative nursing care for neuro and other specialized surgical procedures
• Prepare the operating room: ensure patient readiness, supplies, instrumentation, and equipment functionality
• Maintain sterile technique and follow infection prevention protocols throughout all procedures
• Complete accurate intraoperative documentation and deliver effective post-op handoff communication
• Work collaboratively with surgeons, anesthesia, and the perioperative team to support efficient case flow
• Respond promptly to urgent and emergent surgical needs as part of the on-call schedule
