DW Sisters is partnering with a leading healthcare client to identify an experienced RN – CVOR for a full-time contract opportunity within a high-acuity Operating Room environment. Client details will be shared later in the interview process.
Position Overview- Department: Operating Room (CVOR / Open Heart)
- Schedule: Monday–Friday | 4 days/week, 10-hour shifts
- Hours: 6:30 AM – 5:00 PM
- Weekly
Hours:
40 hours - Call Requirement: 10–12 days per month
- Location: Mason City, IA
- Perform scrub duties
, including selecting and handling surgical instruments and supplies. - Serve as circulating nurse
, monitoring patient condition and coordinating nursing care before, during, and after procedures. - Assist surgeons directly with hemostasis, suturing, wound exposure, and patient positioning
. - Prepare and maintain operating rooms, instruments, and equipment to ensure procedural readiness.
- Accurately document and communicate patient status throughout surgical procedures.
- Open Heart / CVOR surgery experience (required)
- EPIC EMR experience
- Scrubbing experience strongly preferred
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-acuity surgical setting
