Shift: Day Shift | 6:30 AM - 5:00 PM

Schedule: Monday - Friday (4 days / 10-hour shifts)

Hours: 40 hours/week

Call Requirement: 10-12 days per month

Contract Duration: Jan 12, 2026 - Apr 12, 2026 (3 months)

Pay Rate: $72.07 / hr

The Registered Nurse – CVOR provides specialized perioperative nursing care for open-heart and cardiovascular surgical procedures
. This role supports surgeons and the surgical team by performing both scrub and circulating functions
, ensuring safe, efficient, and high-quality care before, during, and after surgery. The RN CVOR works in a fast-paced operating room environment requiring advanced clinical skills and strong collaboration.

• Perform scrub duties, including selection, handling, and management of surgical instruments and supplies.
• Perform circulating duties, including monitoring patient status and managing overall nursing care before, during, and after procedures.
• Assist surgeons directly with surgical tasks such as hemostasis, suturing, wound exposure, and patient positioning.
• Prepare operating rooms, surgical instruments, and equipment for scheduled procedures.
• Maintain sterile technique and ensure compliance with OR safety standards.
• Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesiology, and perioperative team members to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Document perioperative care accurately and in a timely manner.

• Minimum 2 years of CVOR or open-heart surgery experience required.
• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license (state license or compact license
