Hospitalist Physician

Location: Mason City, Iowa A welcoming community in North Central Iowa, conveniently located halfway between St. Paul, MN, and Des Moines, IA. The area features year-round recreation, from hockey and skating in winter to water parks and outdoor festivals in summer.

The facility features a closed ICU, a supportive team of 8 experienced hospitalists, and partnership with skilled specialists across multiple disciplines. Physicians have the opportunity to proctor residents and work within an academic setting that values teamwork and continuous learning.

• Team:
  Join a well-established group of 8 physicians.

• Schedule:
  
  Flexible 12-hour shifts; team members rotate days and nights (majority of shifts are daytime).

• Responsibilities:

  • Day shift:
    Rounding and admitting patients alongside two hospitalists.

  • Night shift:
    Admissions, cross-coverage, Code/RRT response, and resident supervision.

• Environment:
  Closed ICU, no procedures required.

Compensation:

• Salary: Highly competitive base shift rate with additional incentive opportunities.
