Position Summary

The Mason City Clinic (MCC) in Mason City, Iowa is seeking a BC/BEnon-invasive General Cardiologist to join the Cardiology department of our multi‑specialty physician‑owned group.

• Busy practice: 10 physicians, 10 fellows, and 7 NPs
• 1:6 call rotation with excess call +$500 per diem; fellows take 1st call
• Inpatient, outpatient, and diagnostic services
• Full range of cardiology services (non‑invasive, invasive, interventional, EP) in collaboration with cardiac & vascular surgery; transesophageal echocardiograms (TEE) and cardioversions required
• Training opportunity:
  Cardiology fellowship program (3 residents/year) plus interventional fellowship (accepting 1 per year)
• Outreach at one of our 10 critical‑access hospitals in a 14‑county network
• Primary service area ~260,000 people
• Located at Mercy One North Iowa Medical Center – 342‑bed regional referral teaching hospital, Level II Trauma Center with 24/7 ED, helicopter, and state‑of‑the‑art cath labs

• Competitive guaranteed base salary: $560,000 per year + production (2‑year guaranteed base)
• $100,000 bonus package

• Must obtain Mercy Medical Center‑North Iowa medical staff privileges
• Licensed or eligible for State of Iowa physician license;
  Iowa Controlled Substance Certificate and Federal DEA Certificate
• Above average communication skills; ability to work with a team
• Graduate of a medical/osteopathic medical school; completion of an appropriate residency program; board certified or board eligible
