Overview

The Mason City Clinic (MCC) in Mason City, Iowa has an excellent opportunity for an ARNP or PA to join the Cardiothoracic Team!

• Join the busy practice of 1 Cardiothoracic Surgeon & 1 APP
• Experience of at least 100 vein harvests is required
• 1:2 call. APPs are called in on average of 10-15 times/year for a procedure. Call is 10 days/month
• Full range of cardiology services, including non-invasive, invasive, interventional, & EP working together with cardiac surgery & vascular surgery services
• Cardiology team consists of 10 physicians, 7 APPs, and 10 fellows
• Located at Mercy One North Iowa Medical Center - 342 bed regional referral teaching hospital
• Level III Trauma Center with 24/7 staffed ED and hospitalist services, helicopter, and state-of-the-art cath labs

• Competitive guaranteed base salary starting at $157,000/year + $25k starting bonus! + $30-35k call pay/year
• Over $210k package in year 1
• Call Pay - $150 daily rate; $250 Saturday/Sunday/holidays
• $300 for procedure call in (~10-15/year)
• $30-35k minimum call pay/year on top of base salary
• Full benefits package, including paid malpractice, CME, relocation reimbursement, PTO, health, dental, vision, life insurance, HSA, disability, generous employer retirement contribution, etc.

• BC as an ARNP or PA; must be able to obtain an Iowa medical license, DEA, and CSA as well as Mercy One North Iowa medical staff privileges
