Overview
Family Medicine Residency Program Faculty opportunity in Mason City, Iowa. Hospital employed and teaching in a single hospital with a community-based Family Medicine Residency and an 18-resident ACGME accredited program.
Responsibilities- Role involves administration, supervision, and patient care activities related to the education of family medicine residents.
- Medical student teaching opportunities.
- Engage in a flexible practice opportunity across outpatient, inpatient, obstetrics, or full-spectrum care, as available.
- Minimum of an M.D. or D.O. degree from an approved medical school
- Completion of an ACGME-accredited family medicine residency
- Board-eligible or board-certified by the American Board of Family Medicine
- 1–3 years of experience preferred but not required
- Experience in graduate medical education preferred but not required
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; ability to work with a broad range of people
- H-1B visa candidates encouraged to apply
- Hospital employed and teaching in a single hospital
- Close relationship with on-site Internal Medicine Residency & Cardiology/Interventional Cardiology Fellowship programs
- University of Iowa affiliated program with optional academic appointment at University of Iowa and Des Moines University

- $100,000 bonus package
- Guaranteed salary of $267,407/year, free from RVU/productivity pressures
- Up to $15,000 moving allowance
