Job Title: Multi-Craft Millwright
Department: Operations
Reports To: Multi-Craft Millwright Foreman
FLSA Status: Non-exempt

• Examine objects, systems, or facilities, and analyze information to determine needed installations, services, or repairs.
• Read blueprints and schematic drawings to determine work procedures.
• Dismantle machines.
• Move machinery and equipment, using hoist, dollies, rollers, airbags, and fork trucks.
• Assemble and install equipment such as shafting, conveyors, and tram rails.
• Construct foundations for machines; insert shims, adjust tension on nuts and bolts, or position parts, using hand tools and measuring instruments, to set specified clearances between moving and stationary parts.
• Align machines and equipment, using hoist, jacks, hand tools, squares, rules, micrometers, and plumb bobs.
• Assemble machines and bolt, weld, rivet, or otherwise fasten them to foundations or other structures.
• Use various hand tools, power tools, torches, and welders.
• Operate forklifts, scissor lifts, and boom lifts.
• Additional skills in other crafts will be necessary to meet customer needs and will be expected in this role.

High school diploma or GED; or two to four years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
