What you will do

• Be a Style Consultant who focuses on strong operations and an incredible guest experience, with engaging in-store presentations that enable quick and easy self-discovery.
• Welcome and assist guests on the sales floor and in the fitting room, ensuring the floor is fully stocked, accurately priced, and signed with the right sizes, styles, and colors.
• Drive sales by executing visual standards, promotional signing, and staying knowledgeable on assortment and brand offerings to assist guests as needed.
• Use store tools to understand sales, inventory ownership, and guest needs.
• Sort truck freight, move merchandise to the floor, and locate items in the backroom according to business needs.
• Maintain product availability and a full floor by completing priority fills and merchandising to capacity.
• Support backroom organization to replenish and fulfill guest requests.
• Remerchandise presentations as items sell through to deliver an inspiring shopping experience.
• Support price changes and clearance merchandising with signing execution.
• Maintain and use fitting rooms to welcome, inspire, and assist guests; support fulfillment by moving items from fitting rooms to the sales floor.
• Demonstrate a culture of ethical conduct, safety, and compliance; work safely and report hazards.
• Support guest services such as back-up cashier, order pickup, and drive-up while ensuring compliance with applicable laws.
• Greet guests, engage with them to meet their needs, and thank them for shopping with Target.
• Other duties as needed based on business needs.

Preferred skills and attributes

• Strong interest and knowledge of apparel products and accessories.

• Ability to use handheld scanners and other technology equipment as directed.
• Effective communication; able to work independently or as part of a team; resolve guest questions quickly.
• Ability to stay focused and composed and accomplish multiple tasks within time frames.

Basic requirements and working expectations

• Accurately handle cash register operations as needed.
• Climb ladders; lift or move merchandise up to 15 pounds regularly and up to 44 pounds occasionally with assistance.
• Flexible work schedule (nights, weekends, holidays); reliable attendance required.
• Work in varied temperatures and environments as part of duties (Drive-Up, carryout, etc.).
• Ability to stay mobile for the duration of a scheduled shift.
