Advocates of guest experience who welcome, thank, and exceed guest service expectations by focusing on guest interaction, loyalty enrollment and store cleanliness. Advocates of both in-store and digital services and solutions who are knowledgeable about capabilities and features that drive adoption and ultimately guest loyalty. Empowered to make shopping quick and easy for guests at the checklanes, guest services, gift registry, pick-up and drive up while ensuring exceptional quality.

• Communicating and interacting with guests to build a welcoming guest experience
• Blending problem solving and decision making to positively impact the guest experience and resolve guest concerns
• Adapting to different guest interactions and situations
• Promoting and engaging around various benefits, offerings and services

• Demonstrate a service culture that prioritizes the guest service experience by delivering the service standard
• Create a welcoming experience by greeting guests as you complete daily tasks
• Engage with guests to help solve their specific needs
• Make the guest aware of current promos, store activities and events
• Be knowledgeable about tools, products, and services to solve issues and improve guest experience
• Thank guests and acknowledge their choice to shop at Target
• Know and discuss the benefits of Target Loyalty programs and assist with sign-up as needed
• Scan and bag items efficiently and in compliance with safety standards
• Minimize guest wait time while maintaining service and accuracy
• Explain features and offerings within the Target App including Wallet
• Be familiar with Order Pick-Up, Drive Up and online ordering; direct guests to enroll, activate and use these features
• Handle returns with guidance from leadership and in accordance with policies
• Maintain a clean, clutter-free work area and stock supplies during store hours
• Demonstrate ethical conduct, safety and compliance
• Work safely at all times; report hazards and correct where possible
• Support guest services such as order pick up, drive-up orders, and related duties with compliance to applicable laws
• All other duties based on business needs

• Remain focused and composed in a fast-paced environment

• Accurately handle checkout operations and support related cash office activities
• Scan, handle and move merchandise safely, with lifting up to 10 pounds frequently and up to 44 pounds occasionally
• Flexible work schedule including nights, weekends and holidays; reliable attendance
• Ability to stay mobile for the duration of shift
• Work in varying temperatures and conditions as needed for duties such as Drive-Up and carryout
