Full-Time Retail Sales Associate to join our Team!

$13.00 to $16.00 per hour

We offer an easily achievable commission structure that pays you for every transaction you process. Our retail sales associates can earn up to 8% on transactions, which could average an additional $2.70 per hour on top of your hourly rate.

We are seeking entry-level, full-time sales associates in our pawn store locations nationwide. The Pawnbroker / Retail Sales Associate partners with the entire staff of the store to ensure customer service on both the lending and retail sides of the business. A Pawnbroker/Retail Sales Associate greets, engages and interacts with customers to process sales, loans, and other transactions. The role involves engaging with customers and assisting with inquiries and problem resolution.

Associates will work with a wide variety of jewelry and general merchandise, including tools, electronics, firearms (in FFL locations) and more.

The Full-Time Pawnbroker / Retail Sales Associate position offers an hourly wage plus commission based on productivity. The actual pay will be based on factors such as work location, qualifications, and experience.

Responsibilities of a Full-Time Pawnbroker / Retail Sales Associate include:

• Greets and interacts with all customers to develop rapport and provide/recommend appropriate financial solutions.
• Performs non-management open/close procedures.
• Keeps the sales floor clean, stocked, and maintains display of merchandise.
• Performs sales and loan transactions in accordance with policies, procedures, practices, and regulatory requirements.
• Handles all cash and negotiable items in accordance with policies and regulations.
• Answers incoming calls per company standards.
• Effectively communicates to customers the legal aspects of pawn and buy transactions.
• Communicates effectively with coworkers and managers, displaying respect and using effective communication tools.
• Partners with all employees to create a positive and memorable customer experience.
• Completes the assigned training successfully.
• Other related duties, as assigned.

• Willing and able to lift/carry up to 50 pounds.
• Willing and able to perform duties for extended periods, including standing, stooping, walking, climbing, pushing, pulling, and lifting.
• Ability to work with firearms and become firearms certified.
• May be asked to assist a customer outside the building or retrieve products stored in exterior storage.
• Minimum Age: 18 years old
• High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent experience
• Strong desire to work, serve customers, and be team-oriented.
• Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to perform basic math calculations proficiently.
• Cash handling experience is preferred.
• Should be able to work in multiple locations as business needs dictate.
• Flexible retail schedule including weekends and holidays.
• Computer literate and able to operate POS systems and common office machines.
