Licensed Practical Nurse 2p-10p Full-Time. $2,500 Sign-On Bonus. (Healthcare)
Dominion Senior Living is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse to join our team. What You’ll Do- Resident-Centered Assessment:
Conduct initial and ongoing assessments of residents’ physical and emotional health; document changes and communicate with the healthcare and dietary teams. - Care Planning:
Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and update individualized care plans; participate in care plan meetings. - Supervision and Delegation:
Oversee and delegate tasks to CNAs and Resident Assistants; provide guidance to team members in performing duties safely and effectively. - Assistance with ADLs and Procedures:
Provide assistance with activities of daily living and perform or assist with medical procedures under supervision as needed (e.g., wound care, injections, monitoring chronic conditions). - Documentation:
Maintain detailed and up-to-date medical records, including vital signs, medication administration, and changes in health status. - Professional Demeanor and Interaction:
Contribute to a warm, welcoming atmosphere and build positive relationships with residents through respectful interactions.
- Education:
Completion of a state-approved practical nursing program; licensure as an LPN. - Professionalism:
Ability to maintain confidentiality, respect cultural differences, and adhere to ethical standards. - Clinical Expertise:
Competence in medication administration, wound care, vital signs monitoring, and general clinical skills. - Team Player:
Collaborative mindset with registered nurses, CNAs, and other staff. - Lifelong Learning:
Commitment to ongoing learning and professional development.

Physical DemandsThe role may require standing, walking, bending, lifting (up to 50 pounds), and assisting with resident transfers.
