Technology & Accounting Manager

Reports to: Director of Finance & Human Resources

The Technology & Accounting Manager is a key member of the Blount Partnership team, with primary responsibility for overseeing and advancing the organization’s technology systems, digital infrastructure, and technology-related operations. This role plays a critical part in ensuring reliable, secure, and efficient technology solutions that support the Blount Partnership’s organizations—the Chamber of Commerce, Chamber Foundation, Economic Development Board, and Smoky Mountain Tourism Development Authority.

The Manager will work closely with staff and external vendors to manage technology platforms, improve operational efficiency, implement best practices, and support data-driven decision-making. In addition to technology leadership, the role provides oversight and coordination of accounting processes, ensuring accurate financial operations and compliance. The ideal candidate brings strong technical expertise with the ability to support financial systems in a collaborative, mission-driven environment.

This position requires advanced proficiency with Microsoft Windows, Office
365®, and Sage 50© or similar accounting software, with an emphasis on system management, integration, and operational support rather than traditional accounting functions.
