Overview
E-Commerce Data Specialist — Smith & Wesson is seeking an E-commerce Data Specialist to help manage online products, content focusing on product data accuracy, inventory, and user experience to drive digital revenue.

Maryville, Tennessee, United States. Requisition Number: SWI-7480. Onsite, non-remote in Maryville, TN.

Maryville, TN — Full-time, first shift: 8:00 am - 5:00 pm (Mon-Fri).
- Product Data Management:
Upload, manage, and optimize product listings with accurate details, descriptions, pricing, and availability. - Content & Marketing:
Coordinate with marketing to create engaging product content, campaigns (SEO/PPC). - Performance Monitoring:
Track website traffic, sales, conversion rates, and user behavior to identify areas for improvement. - Inventory & Operations:
Resolve data discrepancies, and liaise with operations for product development, inventory planning, and fulfillment. - Customer Support:
Investigate customer issues escalated from customer service. - Strategy & Optimization:
Work with Director of E-Commerce to research trends, implement digital strategies, and implement product/site enhancements to boost sales and brand loyalty.
Requirements
- College degree in a related field or 2-4 years of applicable experience in a similar role
- Analytics certification is preferred but not required.
- Data Analysis:
Ability to interpret data and make data-driven decisions. - Communication:
Strong writing and verbal skills for content and team collaboration. - Attention to Detail:
High accuracy in managing product data and processes. - Problem-Solving:
Skills to resolve listing issues, inventory discrepancies, and customer problems.
- Must be able to stand, sit, and walk
- Long periods of sitting are required, as well as long periods of working on the computer
- Occasional lifting up to 30 pounds

Within the Smith & Wesson manufacturing facility, employees may be exposed to manufacturing noise, airborne chemicals, dust, ambient temperatures, and industrial lighting. Work environment is similar to most manufacturing operations. May be exposed to excessive noise, temperatures, hazards around moving machinery, confined spaces, vibrations, hot temperatures, humidity, odors, dust, chemical hazards, and other related risks.
The following Personal Protective Equipment is required:
- Safety glasses with side shields and hearing protection required when on manufacturing floor
- Additional PPE may be required depending on task or department
