TOP Wind Service Technicians receive exclusive wind safety and technical training accredited through the Global Wind Organization (GWO). They work on a service team to perform preventive, scheduled, and unscheduled maintenance on wind turbine generator equipment, ensuring safe and efficient operations. Technicians report to the Program Manager, Site Manager, and Lead Technician on job sites.

• High School Diploma / GED and Associate Degree in Technical Mechanical or Wind Energy discipline or equivalent experience
• Complete training in Basic Safety, Tower Safety, Technical Training (mechanical, electrical, hydraulic), LOTO, and other required programs
• Pass background check and drug screening

• Passion for safety and service excellence
• Strong mechanical and electrical background
• English reading, writing, and comprehension
• Interpret basic diagrams and wiring schematics
• Basic MS Office proficiency
• Initiative and ability to work independently
• Adaptability to dynamic environments
• Effective communication and teamwork
• Instruction following and strong organizational skills
• Willingness to learn

• Climb a 300‑foot wind tower multiple times per day
• Move across hub and, if necessary, descend from emergency
• Work at heights of up to 300+ feet and in confined spaces
• Meet weight restraints of tower ladders (250‑300 lbs plus PPE)
• Frequent climbing, walking, bending, kneeling, and squatting
• Handle repetitive loads up to 50 lbs
• Complete climb and tower rescue training

• Follow all Environmental, Health, and Safety procedures
• Perform mechanical installations, maintenance, operations, and upgrades
• Ensure work meets customer requirements
• Adhere to established work procedures
• Document all work performed
• Report policy or procedure violations
• Submit progress reports
• Repair or replace parts
• Use specific tools safely and competently
• Work independently on equipment maintenance projects as needed
• Dismantle and assemble basic machinery, components, and tooling
• Travel as required (up to 25%)
• Work holidays, weekends, and overtime as needed
• Maintain a valid driver’s license and clean driving record
