Job Description

JOB SUMMARY:

Responsible for the completion of projects assigned by the Construction Foreman. Installation and repair of specialty items, new construction and repair projects including sheet rock, masonry work, flooring, painting, finish work/cove base, trim, concrete pouring, minor repairs, framing work/remodeling of walls, mudding/taping, carpentry under lament, ceiling tile/grid, trimming, siding, hanging of doors, and installing windows.

Job Requirements

EDUCATION:

• High School Diploma or GED Equivalent preferred.

SKILLS:

• Must have basic knowledge of blueprint reading. (Test required)

EXPERIENCE:

• Minimum of three (3) years of finish carpentry and construction experience.
• Minimum of three (3) years painting experience in all aspects of the field.
• Minimum of three (3) years experience operating lifts, to include articulates, scissor, and forklifts in and outside of facilities.

OTHER REQUIREMENTS:

• This position is considered "safety sensitive" and will be required to undergo periodic drug/alcohol testing.
• Must have a current valid State Driver's License.
• Applicants will be required to successfully pass a "medium level" agility exam determining if physically capable of performing the needed tasks of the position.
• Must be flexible to work at all gaming sites, the Tulalip Resort Casino, Quil Ceda Creek Casino, and Bingo.
• Must be able to successfully pass a background investigation for a Tribal Gaming License or Permit.
• Must be able to work any shift assigned to include days, swing, grave, weekends, and/or holidays.
• Must have a successful employment history with Tulalip Tribal and/or other employment entities.
