Overview
Team Manager at Panera Bread is responsible for providing outstanding leadership to the team, fostering a positive customer experience, and ensuring high standards of cleanliness, food quality, safety, and facility management. This role supports a no-fry, no-late-night environment and operates within Flynn Panera’s decentralized leadership model.
Responsibilities- Provide outstanding leadership to the team and act as a role model.
- Ensure team members deliver great customer service.
- Take ownership for the business performance of the restaurant.
- Maintain a safe, secure and healthy environment by following safety and sanitation standards and procedures.
- Run opening, mid and closing shifts to ensure a consistent positive customer experience.
- Coordinate the operation of the restaurant during scheduled shifts.
- Greet customers and perform table visits to ensure customer satisfaction.
- Recruit, train and motivate staff.
- Assist bakery-cafe specialists to ensure team members are trained and competent in all aspects of food service and customer support.
- Ensure objectives are achieved within company guidelines, cultural values, and ethical business practices.
- Exhibit a professional image and promote the company values and beliefs.
- Restaurant management involves strategic planning, shift organization and day-to-day management in a fast-paced environment.
- At least 1-2 years of hospitality experience is preferred.
- Food management certifications are a plus.
- Strong organizational, customer service and time management skills.
- Proven leadership track record and ability to work under pressure with a diverse team.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
- Ability to stand and move for extended periods and lift up to 50 pounds as needed.
Base pay range: $19.00/hr - $25.00/hr
