JOIN OUR TEAM AS AN INTAKE REGISTERED NURSE (RN). Smokey Point Behavioral Hospital is seeking a motivated, dependable, and dedicated caregiver to provide exceptional direct care and support to our patients. The Intake Registered Nurse is responsible for coordination of assessments of incoming patients with A&R Counselors.

• Coordinates providers admission orders and initiates the Admission process with the Admissions Clerk, and Admissions Clinicians
• Screen Referrals
• Actively engage in the health care team, offering both direct and indirect care to patients, families, and legal guardians
• Assess the physical and psychological conditions of patients continuously throughout their care journey
• Utilize the nursing process in alignment with the philosophy, objectives, values, mission, and core principles of SPBH
• Uphold a safe therapeutic environment grounded in our core values
• Collaborate as an integral member of the multidisciplinary treatment team, actively contributing to the development, implementation, and documentation of tailored goals and interventions based on patient strengths and psychiatric challenges

• Education & Licensure:
  Graduate from an accredited program of professional nursing; valid Washington State RN license required. Bachelor’s Degree preferred
• Experience:
  
  A minimum of three years experience in a psychiatric healthcare facility
• Additional Skill Requirements:
  Demonstrate exceptional crisis management and time management skills. Flexibility and creativity, with the ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently. Maintain a calm, organized, and professional demeanor under stress

This is a full-time role; the expected base compensation ranges from $48.00 - $55.00 hourly + MONTHLY BONUS OPPORTUNITY + GENEROUS SHIFT DIFFERENTIALS. Nights: $51.00 - $58.00/hr (includes shift differential)

Weekend Days: $53.00 - $60.00/hr (includes shift differential)

Weekend Nights: $57.00 - $64.00/hr (includes shift differential)
