Position: Autocad / Solidworks Drafter
AutoCAD / Solidworks Drafter - Everett, WA area
Our client in the Everett, WA area is a Design-build company specialized in exterior building structures is looking for a AutoCAD/Solidworks Drafter to draft engineered structures.

Keltia is a technical support services company providing Engineering Design, CAD Training along with Specialized Technical Recruiting services to mainly the aerospace, architecture, medical device, and other industries in WA State, around the US, Canada and Europe. We have been in business 20 years in the US and 8 years in Europe.

Position purpose/core responsibilities:

The Drafter will produce designs and drawings in AutoCAD or Solidworks (as required) and maintenance of design department resources (block libraries, etc).

Main Duties:

It is expected that the following duties will be performed in a timely, accurate manner while following appropriate procedures and meeting applicable standards of performance and deadlines.

• Create drawings from engineering designs for submittal to clients.
• Create designs to incorporate features / structural requirements into drawings.
• Ensure designs adhere to company standards and engineering requirements.
• Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

• Professional AutoCAD drafting experience: 3+years (Preferred)
• Professional Solid Works modelling: 2+ years (Preferred)
• Able to read commercial, architectural and structural drawings.
• Able to discuss structural design of metal structures with engineering staff and communicate design intent to drafting staff.
• Reliable, punctual, detail-orientated.
• Strong computer technical skills (Excel, Adobe).
• Effectively communicate with team members.
• Ability to shift priorities quickly.
• Architectural or Engineering Drafting background with fabrication knowledge preferred.
• On-site commercial construction experience a plus.
